Interface and navigation
General structure
The interface has two main components:
- Interactive map, displaying the river network and model elements.
- Sidebar, used to configure simulations and view general indicators.
Types of element
The network includes elements with different functions:
- drainage areas, which generate hydrological contributions;
- abstractions, which remove water from the river;
- returns, such as effluent from wastewater treatment plants;
- external inflows, which add water to the network;
- reservoirs and release points;
- river reaches, which carry flow downstream.
Drainage area information
The table for a drainage area includes:
- inflow;
- local contribution;
- outflow;
- local drainage area;
- upstream drainage area;
- upstream mean precipitation;
- upstream mean temperature;
- upstream potential evapotranspiration;
- upstream actual evapotranspiration.
Abstraction information
For an abstraction, the following can be viewed:
- inflow;
- abstracted flow;
- proportion of flow abstracted.
River reach information
River reaches mainly show:
- simulated flow;
- environmental flow requirement;
- compliance or non-compliance with the environmental flow requirement;
- frequency of non-compliance in the period summary.
Reservoir summary
The sidebar shows indicators for the Sau–Susqueda–Pasteral system, including:
- final stored volume;
- mean inflow;
- mean outflow.
